Post-Offer Job Testing

Cornerstone Physical Therapy, LLC will:

• Customize a physical examination and job-related test to evaluate your team members prior to beginning work.
• Testing will evaluate if a candidate's physical capabilities match the physical demands of the job applied for.
• The test will evaluate posture, flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, body mechanics and material handling skills.
• Post-offer job testing will help your company evaluate new-employee injury risks, reduce future injuries, and reduce losses associated with injuries.

Job-Site Analysis

Cornerstone Physical Therapy, LLC will:

• Assess the physical and mechanical requirements of worker to perform a specific job and its duties.
• Assess the ergonomics of the workstation.
• Provide practical recommendations for changes or improvements in both employee work behavior and workstation design.
• Analyze your records on injuries, claims, costs of claims, types of injuries, and costs of each injury.
• Analyze your current safety and reporting policies and compare any trends with the records of injuries and claims.
• Cite any significant negative trends and offer practical solutions to resolve them.

On-Site Therapy Clinic

• Cornerstone Physical Therapy, LLC will set up a comprehensive physical therapy clinic on the premises of your company.
• The clinic will occupy a small space within your facility while services are being performed.
• The clinic will include examination tables, assessment tools, and treatment equipment in order to provide comprehensive services.
• The clinic will provide the same services that are provided at off-site physical therapy clinics.
• Employees will have guaranteed, timely appointments when services are needed.

• Top-quality treatment for neck and back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, muscle and joint stiffness, muscle strains, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other musculoskeletal disorders.

Education Programs

For Supervisors

• Define and describe common Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorder's, also known as, Cumulative Trauma Disorders.
• Describe basic Ergonomic Principles, safe and unsafe work behaviors, and how to recognize risky work behavior.

For Employees

• Describe and demonstrate proper postures, body mechanics, and injury prevention strategies.
• Describe general symptoms to recognize that MAY lead to a significant problem.
• Describe causes of musculoskeletal disorders and how to prevent them.
• Teach self-care techniques and self-responsibility in maintaining a healthy body.
• Back safety, posture and body mechanics training.

Job Specific Stretching Programs

• Perform individual workstation analysis.
• Assess and determine areas of the body that are placed under the most stress.
• Prescribe a 5-minute stretching program to relieve stress, tension, and inflammation to the affected areas.

Work Injury Analysis

• Assist in the analysis of the company's records of injuries, claims, claim costs, and the costs associated with specific injuries.
• Review current safety and reporting policies.
